Public debt: my contribution to Italian Builders
I contribute to the Italian Builders community project. I created the public debt page, from the interface to the data pipeline and tests, using Bank of Italy and Eurostat sources.
A community project
DoveVannoINostriSoldi is an Italian Builders community project. My contribution concerns the public debt page. It is a concrete way to take part in collective work on a topic I care about: making Italian public data easier to understand.
The part I built
I worked from the interface through to the data pipeline and tests, using Bank of Italy and Eurostat sources. The page needs to let people read the numbers alongside their context: provenance, period and the meaning of the measures are part of the work.
Why it is here
This contribution shows how I work on software and data with other people. It is a civic project, not an AI application. I include it because collaborating in the community and building tools anyone can consult is part of what I want to keep doing.
