AI is a dopamine hit for devs (and it’s killing your startup)
AI has made building so effortless that the challenge is no longer the code.
Read on SubstackA place for what I think and build.
I work with software, study AI and write about things that make me stop and think. I’m interested in where we’re headed. And in contributing, with other people, to what comes next.

More on GitHubProjects to learn from, tools I needed and software I contribute to with other people.
I contribute to the Italian Builders community project. I created the public debt page, from the interface to the data pipeline and tests, using Bank of Italy and Eurostat sources.
My work on this projectA learning project based on Vishal Baraiya’s microgpt-c. I added tools to train, save and observe the model.
My work on this projectA CLI published on npm that checks links, commands and references in a repository’s Markdown and MDX files. To catch what doesn’t add up before the reader does.
My work on this projectI contribute to the author’s project: a self-hosted workspace for X using the official APIs. The code I wrote has been merged into the original project.
03 / Nice to meet you
I’m a software developer, but work is only part of what interests me. I study artificial intelligence, read about geopolitics and write to give shape to the questions I keep coming back to.
I’d like to work on introducing AI into companies. And to contribute, alongside people with similar interests, to building something useful in Italy and Europe. Taking part in Italian Builders is a step in that direction.
This site collects what I write and build while figuring out how to do that. If something here interests you, I’d be happy to talk about it.

l.borgato12@gmail.comI’m interested in projects that bring AI into business processes and open-source tools built with other people, in Italy and Europe. I bring software development experience and am studying how models work. If you are looking for a collaborator, tell me about the problem and what we would work on together.
